KENOSHA, WI — The Mary Lou & Arthur F. Mahone Foundation is proud to announce the engagement of the Stacia Thompson Impact Collective to lead the strategic advancement of its signature Career Exploration Organization (C.E.O.) Mentoring Program. Dr. Stacia Thompson, Founder of the Impact Collective, will serve as Chief Workforce Strategist for the Foundation. In this fractional executive capacity, she will oversee the strategic development, expansion, and delivery of the foundation's year-round internship and work-based learning program, serving first-generation and low- to moderate-income minority students in the Kenosha and Racine communities.
Dr. Thompson brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in the public and private sectors, specializing in workforce innovation and social impact. Her expertise focuses on designing high-impact workforce programs that successfully align student outcomes with the strategic needs of regional corporate partners.
“We are thrilled to engage Dr. Thompson’s expertise and bring her vision to the Mahone Foundation,” said Tim Mahone, chairman of the Mahone Foundation. “As our Chief Workforce Strategist, she brings a wealth of knowledge that will allow our CEO program to align resources perfectly with the needs of our corporate partners and students. Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue to close the academic achievement and employment gap for our scholars.”
The CEO program focuses on three core pillars: STEM Education, Employment and Economic Sustainability, and Life Skills development. Under Dr. Thompson’s strategic guidance, the program will continue its collaboration with a diverse roster of internship partners, including Snap-on, Jockey, Bear Development, Advocate Aurora Healthcare, the City of Kenosha, the Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood, Building our Future, Kenosha County, the Racine County Eye, and the Racine Family YMCA providing students with professional mentorship and work-based learning opportunities.
“My vision for this partnership is to create a seamless pipeline between classroom achievement and career-sustaining employment,” said Dr. Thompson. “Through the Impact Collective, I am dedicated to driving social impact that is both sustainable and intentional. By strengthening the CEO program, we are moving beyond traditional placements to provide robust work-based learning that equips the next generation of leaders with the tools to navigate the workforce and reclaim their futures through resilient, intentional practices.”
