Jerome Porter Quintet to Perform at HarborPark, Jazz, Rhythm & Blues Festival

The Jerome Porter Quintet will kick off the popular HarborPark Jazz Rhythm & Blues festival on Saturday, August 15 at 2pm on the Snap-on stage. Mr. Porter leads an ensemble of talented and emerging UW Parkside jazz musicians.

Jerome is a Senior at UW Parkside, studying Contemporary Commercial Music with a focus in Composition. He is an emerging keyboardist and trumpeter showcasing an eclectic blend of classic jazz and r&b. His riveting and energetic style creates a vibe that captures your hearts and elevates your mood.

"Having Jerome's Quintet kick off this year's festival represents the Mahone Foundation’s commitment to invest and highlight emerging young artists in our Community. The students at UW Parkside are well trained and ready to entertain!"
