Carthage College has partnered with the Mahone Foundation to provide up to seven (7) Access Education Awards to incoming 2026 freshmen who are interested in pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree through

Carthage College. For students who meet this criteria, Carthage pledges to meet their remaining need up to full tuition through a combination of federal, state and institutional financial aid.

For Eligibility, Students Must:


Meet all the eligibility requirements for the Mahone Foundation CEO Scholarship
Must be eligible to receive a Federal Pell grant
Have applied for admission to Carthage College; provide evidence of acceptance at the time of award
Have earned a 2.75 unweighted GPA
